Ali Bongo attends Ouattara’s inauguration
Gabon’s President Ali Bongo Ondimba has arrived early Saturday in Abidjan to attend the inauguration of his counterpart Ivorian Alassane Ouattara, designated single candidate for of houphouëtist gathering for democracy and peace (RHDP) in the last October presidential.
Welcomed at the airport by Côte d’Ivoire Prime Minister Daniel Kablan Duncan, the head of the Gabonese State expressed his ’happiness’ to be in Abidjan.
"It is a great moment in Ivorian politics," noted the President Ali Bongo Ondimba, falling in the wake the "excellent relations" that exist between Gabon and Ivory Coast since late President Leon Mba.
