Ali Bongo expresses condolences to André Mba Obame’s family
All the politicians are unanimous on the loss of the André Mba Obame opponent who was, for long time, one of the men of confidence for late President Omar Bongo. Thus, they did not fail to pay him high tribute as a result of his death, in Yaoundé in Cameroon last Sunday.
Gabon’s president, Ali Bongo Ondimba also expressed his deepest sympathy to the family of André Mba Obame."It is with sadness and emotion that I learned the death of Mr. André Mba Obame, in Yaounde, Cameroon, on April 12, 2015, from an illness. For 25 years, Mr. André Mba Obame was a political friend, a brother with whom I shared a real commitment for Gabon", recalled Gabon’s President.
For the head of State, the death of Mr Mba Obame is but the loss of a talented political figure who has marked his generation. “By this demise, Gabon loses one of the most talented politicians of this generation. I would like, at this point in time, have a special thought for his family, to whom I show my sincere condolences", Ali Bongo said.
