Gabon’s population estimated at 1.802 million
The population of Gabon is estimated at 1.802.728 inhabitants, according to the results of the General Census of Population and Housing (RGPL) conducted in 2013 and validated by the Constitutional Court, the government said in a statement.
However, according to the statement, those figures are still preliminary and in accordance with international standards, controls are in progress to for the final results.
In 2003, Gabon’s population was estimated at 1.5 million, an increase of 300, 000 inhabitants in ten years.
